Lone worker monitoring usually means a wearable or a GPS app.Surveily uses the CCTV you already have instead. It detects a person on the ground, too few people in an isolated zone, and visible smoke and flame, and sends an alert in seconds.
The problem
A camera can spot smoke before it reaches the ceiling detector
This matters most in high-bay halls and large open spaces, where smoke takes longer to reach the ceiling.
A point smoke detector alarms only when smoke reaches it. In a high-bay hall, a kiln building or another open-volume space, that can take minutes. A camera watching the same space can see the smoke forming.
The same applies to people. A worker who collapses in an isolated area is found when someone next walks by. A man-down detection raises the alert without anyone pressing a button, which matters when the person cannot.

Questions about man-down and fire alerts
Does this replace our certified fire-detection system?
No. Visual detection is a complement. In high-bay and open-volume spaces it can see smoke forming before it reaches a ceiling detector.
What about steam, dust and welding?
These are the usual causes of false alerts. That is why each alert comes with a clip your team can check, and why detection is calibrated to your site before go-live. Some high-steam or high-dust views will be ruled out at the assessment.
Do workers need to wear anything?
No. There is no wearable, badge, app or button. Detection uses the camera view of the zone, so it also covers a contractor who was never given a device.
How fast is the alert?
The alert goes out in seconds. Detection runs on the edge server at your site and keeps running if the internet connection drops. Email, SMS and Teams delivery still need a network path.
Can it trigger our alarm or building system automatically?
Events can be passed on through the API, and integrations are priced separately. Whether anything is triggered automatically is your decision and your risk assessment. We recommend a person verifies first.
