Your EHS platform structures, routes and audits what gets reported. The limit is the report itself. Someone who just had a close call has to stop, find a form and describe an event they may have caused.

Questions about automatic near-miss reporting
Does this replace our EHS platform?
No. Surveily is a source of events for it.
Will more events overwhelm the team?
Events are prioritised by severity and routed by facility, shift and use case. The usual pattern is a peak after go-live, then a decline as recurring causes are fixed.
Do detected events count as reported near-misses for our KPIs?
That is your decision. Most organisations keep detected events separate from worker-reported ones. Both are leading indicators, and they measure different things.
Does this stop workers reporting?
We have not seen that. Nothing is attributed to an individual, so it does not compete with the reporting culture.
